Renewing and Reviving Our Faith
Churches across the United States have experienced a 30% decline in attendance in the 21st century. In Europe, the Catholic church saw dramatic declines in the 20th Century. In the face of this reality, we must find a way to renew and revive. This class will explore the concept of reviving our faith. We will first evaluate what faith means, and the faith that needs to be renewed and revived. Old Testament and New Testament examples of revival will be examined. We will then look at revivals in church history and key men and women who led those revivals. Finally, we will look at some principles of effectively reviving the faith of a congregation and what East Cobb can do to renew its focus and devotion to its mission and vision.
The Adult Bible study meets at our building and is available via Zoom on Sunday Morning, 11:00 a.m.
