East Cobb Prayer Week Daily Topics

Friday – People’s Need for God’s guidance.

We live in a world where even Christians rarely allow God to guide them, much less unchurched people.  People need the Lord!  Pray for hearts of people in our own community to be open to God and for us to be able to reach them through our hearts of outreach.

Saturday – Making Meaningful Connections.

It’s not just a pretty theme for this year…it’s a direction and a calling.  Pray for God to help us make a TRULY meaningful connection with Him, to connect with others in the body so no one feels left out, and to share the love and message of Jesus with the unchurched of our community.  Connect because we NEED it.  Connect because others NEED it.  Connect because He first loved us!

People Helping People 101

Are you that person other people talk to about their problems?

Do you serve in a role where you need to understand how to better help people

in their personal and family struggles?

Have you ever thought you needed special training in People Helping?

Join us for a “basic skills” seminar beginning September 2011 and continuing once a month through April 2012. This program will provide training in your own family background; basic helping skills needed for churches, friends or coworkers; and a complete overview of the most used counseling theories.
