Disaster Relief

Update on Tsunami Relief Efforts

It is hard to believe that it is over a year since the tsunami that devastated India and other countries. Some of you felt moved and voluntarily gave money to help with this disaster. The Missions
Ministry worked through Scott and Cynthia Stavran to place the funds with a missionary family (Rama and Udaya Krishna) in India that they have
known for years. Rama's brother-in-law, Kalyan Chintapalli is a student attending a college in Indiana.

Ministries at the East Cobb Church of Christ

Children’s Ministry (Birth - Grade 5) - Serve the needs of this community and this church family by providing educational programs and selected activities which will build a solid foundation upon which Christian values, beliefs and knowledge will mature/progress from birth through and beyond the 5th grade.

Youth Ministry (Grades 6 - 12) - Provide the best possible environment for Christian purpose driven growth as our teens confirm and grow their commitment to Christ and exercise the gifts and talents they have been provided by God.

Prayer Ministry - To worship God through prayer, to encourage our church family in their prayer life, to demonstrate to our attendees the power of prayer and to regularly put the needs of the congregation before the Lord in prayer.

Family and Fellowship - To provide a Family Friendly and Seeker Friendly environment of developing and growing Christian relationships though group-wide and smaller fellowship events and activities.
