“The Only Way to Happiness: The Beatitudes” – General Adult Class
Jesus' first recorded sermon in the Bible is a blueprint for being happy here on earth. Though His definition contains no prescriptions for acquiring cars, homes, or savings, it does require transformation and obedience. This class will examine Jesus' timeless definition of happiness and the eminent importance of the one word needed to obtain it: Blessed. It will explain that our reward for following Jesus' plan is citizenship in the kingdom of God and an abiding joy that can never be taken away.

Did the disciples understand the Parables? What can we learn about God, the Father from these interesting Parables? Are they meaningful to each of us today as we go about being mothers, fathers, sons and daughters and now grandparents who are on our faith journey to be like Jesus? We welcome all ages.
