YOUR SELECTION OF MINISTRIES  

Children’s Ministry (Birth - Grade 5) - Serve the needs of this community and this church family by providing educational programs and selected activities which will build a solid foundation upon which Christian values, beliefs and knowledge will mature/progress from birth through and beyond the 5th grade.

Youth Ministry (Grades 6 - 12) - Provide the best possible environment for Christian purpose driven growth as our teens confirm and grow their commitment to Christ and exercise the gifts and talents they have been provided by God.

Prayer Ministry - To worship God through prayer, to encourage our church family in their prayer life, to demonstrate to our attendees the power of prayer and to regularly put the needs of the congregation before the Lord in prayer.

Family and Fellowship - To provide a Family Friendly and Seeker Friendly environment of developing and growing Christian relationships though group-wide and smaller fellowship events and activities.

Greeting and Visitor Care - To ensure that all guests, and members, feel warmly welcomed at every meeting of our East Cobb Church Family. To see that every guest knows we appreciate their attendance, care about their spiritual needs and  stand ready to assist them in meeting those needs. To demonstrate our love for one another and genuine concern for the salvation of the souls of all people. 

New Member Integration and Involvement - To facilitate active involvement of all new members in the life and ministries of the church according to their desires, talents and interests.

Worship - To plan and execute assemblies in such a way that a sense of awe, of reverence, of wonder and of celebration (of who God is, what He has done, and what He continues to do) among members and guests from our community.

Small Groups - Weekly meetings to develop closer relationships, stronger bonds of fellowship, and the opportunity to study, share and pray together. This is intended to help mature the church family and offer opportunity for evangelistic outreach.  

Men’s Ministry - To involve the congregation’s men in fellowship, service, and edification/evangelism outreach ministries 

Women’s Ministries - To involve the congregation’s women in fellowship, service, and edification/evangelism outreach ministries 

Seniors Ministry - A service and outreach venue directed toward the adult seniors at the church and in the community.

Adult Education - The development of a long-term curriculum plan and to provide teachers for classes to be offered adults on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. This effort will provide edifying and challenging Christ-centered teaching that will mature our members, draw guests to our congregation and equip our members to evangelize the lost. 

Benevolence - To deliver material kindness to our church family, then to our extended family and the community as demonstrated by our Lord in Matthew 25:34-40. 

Missions - To challenge and lead the East Cobb family in carrying “the Good News” to the lost and challenge every member to be involved. 

Family Health - We recognize that health is a dynamic process, which embodies the spiritual, psychological, physical and social dimensions of a person. Those medically certified and that have a strong desire and commitment to use their God-given gifts and talents may serve the members of our church family and the community. 

Office Operations - Our Church Office is staffed from Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM providing; clerical and communications support for the church staff.

Facilities, Equipment and Grounds - This group is responsible for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and grounds, as well as proper operation of equipment.
